Voila les premières informations sur un épisode de la deuxieme moitié de la deuxieme saison de Stargate : Atlantis , " Michael " ( apparemment a l'origine l'épisode devait se nommer " Charlie " )

Dr. Beckett has developed a retrovirus that suppresses the iratus bug (first seen in "Thirty Eight Minutes") elements in Wraith DNA effectively making a wraith human. It is hinted that we are introduced to this treatment in an earlier episode and that things didn't go well for Sheppard (possibly "Conversion").
Michael is a captured wraith that Beckett has tested this virus on. His memory has been wiped and he wakes up not knowing who or what he is.
They tell him he's a Lt. and was captured by the wraith saving his unit. They go as far as to doctor photos of him and a set of fake parents. Their goal is to integrate him into the crew thus proving the reliability of the treatment. Eventually they'd like to turn this into a biological weapon to use against the wraith.
Although the treatment works, it's not yet ready for use as a weapon. Michael still requires a daily dose of drugs to continue to suppress his wraith DNA. He begins to have flashbacks and soon realizes he's a wraith.
Weir and the team confess this to him after he confronts him. He becomes very angry and we begin to see his wraith instincts resurface.
En gros cela dit que le Dr Beckett a mis au point un retrovirus capable d'éliminer la partie de l'ADN d'un Wraith, venant des insectes rencontrés dans 1x04 38 Minutes , qui fait de lui un Wraith et non plus un humain. L'équipe teste ce retrovirus sur un Wraith prisonnier qui redevient humain et amnésique , par la même occasion. Weir lui affirme qu'il est Lieutenant et lui invente de faux parents et un faux passé . Mais il finit par découvrir la verité : il a été un Wraith ( ..il a des flash backs ) et son instinct Wraith se re-manifeste..L'équipe espere a terme et avec améliorations que ce retrovirus pourra servir d'arme biologique contre les Wraith.
