Tout a fait d'accord depuis la fin de sga je me méfie des annonces de Mallozi .

C'est un producteur comme les autres , ci il a un minimun de bon sens il se lancerait dans un autre projet .A moin que ce soit un artiste et qu'il est desinterrese par l'argent

Je crois que ça y est, Joe est sur une autre série. Il dit clairement sur son blog avoir parlé avec une nouvelle chambre d'écrivains d'un pilote en 3 axes, c'est ce qu'il devait faire à Toronto. Et bien j'espère pour lui que cette nouvelle série va marcher.

Vu les resto et les hôtels qu'il se paye, il n'y a qu'une seule réponse: il s'intéresse qu'à l'argent et rien d'autre.

Tu sais, on peut aimer vivre de façon un peu aisée sans pour autant être avide d'argent, Joe n'est pas un Picsou, c'est avant tout quelqu'un qui a de l'argent et qui sait l'utiliser pour profiter et faire ce qu'il aime (bouffe et japon, naturellement ).

Speaking of buzz – I exchanged emails with Brad today and he reports another major hurdle has been cleared.  Almost there, Stargate fans.  Again, this is show business, so even the most promising of scenarios can go sideways fast (and dead-end scenarios turn around just as quickly).  Nothing is written in stone but things are looking MUCH better now than they did last week when things looked much better than they did the week before.  Meetings are still ongoing and I, like most of you, am really beginning to feel antsy.  Hopefully, by the time we head back into the office for the Day 1 Mix of Blockade, we’ll have something more substantial to discuss.

Apparemment Brad à fait sauter un obstacle majeur (on ne sait toujours pas de quels obstacles il s'agit). Les réunions continuent et Mallozzi est sur les nerfs.

Rien de bien intéressant si ce n'est ce fameux obstacle dont on ne connait absolument pas la nature.

L'obstacle majeur on le connait mais il est normal que en tant que scénariste et producteur il ne l'avoue pas directement. L'obstacle c'est le trop plein de "soupe" traduire par "Soap"

Meanwhile, for all those wondering – which I assume is A LOT of you – the Stargate situation remains fluid, and the tidbits of information I’ve received continue to sound very promising for a conclusion to the SGU story (in addition to a few more goodies).  It’s slow but positive progress.  Hopefully, I’ll know more this Tuesday when I go in to watch the Day 1 mix of Blockade and Day 2 mix of Common Descent.

Entre-temps, pour tous ceux qui se demandent - je suppose beaucoup d'entre vous - la situation de Stargate reste fluide, et les éléments d'informations que j'ai reçues sont toujours très prometteurs pour une conclusion à l'histoire SGU (en plus de quelques autres goodies). C'est une progression lente mais positive.

Et bien on attend surtout une fin à la série, il est devenu clair que la série ne pourra pas être poursuivie pour plusieurs saisons encore, mais bel et bien une fin, d'une manière ou d'une autre.

Après il parle de Goodies, mais là, je ne voit pas ce que ça a à faire ici.

Pour ce qui est des films, rien n'est précisé, l'accent étant mit sur SGU pour le moment.

Still no definite word on the Stargate front.  Following a flurry of promising developments, things have gone unbearably quiet.  Not a bad sign just… no sign.  There’s an anticipation that good news could break any day now – but the longer the wait, the greater the challenge when the time comes.  To those holding out hope that this could mean a third season pick-up – alas, this isn’t one of the scenarios in play.  Nevertheless, as I said in a previous entry, if and when we finally do get the green light, Brad has some wonderful surprises in store for fans of SGU (as well as fans of the Stargate franchise in general).  I’ve got my fingers crossed for all involved, even though it’s looking more and more like I won’t be among them.

That on again, off again, on again, off again opportunity is back on again and it looks like Paul and I are close to signing a deal that would take us to Toronto for 2011 (and, possibly, beyond).  As things started to heat up this weekend, I fielded a call from my anxious writing partner who was amazed I wasn’t stressing out as well.  ”My stress was front-loaded,”I told him.  If you’ll recall, it was only one month ago that I was assailed by a host of mystery ailments, from headaches to hives, that left me thoroughly vexed and confused.  In retrospect, those ailments weren’t so mysterious after all.  I’ve stressed out big time and now have made, if not peace, then a grudging truce with the situation.  I’m still bummed at the prospect of having to make the big move, ship my dogs cross-country, say goodbye to my life here in Canada’s greatest city and start anew in T.O.  What do I bring with me besides the dogs?  My car?  All my suits? Do I take my books, my booze, my ice cream maker?!!  On the positive side, I’ll be working on a great new, high-profile series based on an existing, equally terrific franchise (I’m a big fan of the movies).  It’s got a healthy budget and, most important of all, boasts some very kind, very talented individuals who’ll work hard to ensure the show is positively kick-ass.

But there’s still work to be completed on SGU’s second season…

Today, we went in and watched the Day 1 mix of Blockade and the Day 2 mix of Common Descent, taking a break in between to eat lunch and approve visual effects for The Hunt (revised) and Gauntlet (temps).  Watching those shows and snippets made me very proud of what we accomplished – and very sad that it had to end so soon.  Word is you’ll all get to finally see the back half, surprisingly sooner than later.  Official announcement to come.

I spent the rest of the day packing up the books in my office.  I stuffed eight boxfuls into the back of my SUV, and I’m still not halfway done!  I’ll pack up the rest next week when the ever-lovable Carl Binder heads back into town for one final round of mixes, VFX approvals, and schnitzel.

On est bientot mi-fevrier et je dois dire que je m'accroche comme je peux a toutes ces nouvelles.. mais ca commence à faire long. C'est inquietant.

Pour ce qui est de "...de très bonnes surprises pour les fans de la franchise..": je me demande si il parle des téléfilms.. wait and see!!

Moi je vais decouvrir avc beaucoup d'impatience la première vendredi sur NRJ 12
je l'ai pas regardais sur scy fy donc je vais decouvrir ce que les scénariste ns ont pondue comme scénar sur les anciens:p
les vaisseaux ont l'air gros les batailles impressionnante après voir si l'histoire suit avc la mentalité et si ba il respecte tt simplement ety ns fidelise a la nouvelle séries que SG-U

Je pense que tu ne vas pas être déçu, Stargate Universe s'avère être une excellente série. Si tu en as la possibilité, je te conseille de regarder tous les épisodes de la saison 1, il n'y en a pas un seul de mauvais (c'est mon avis)

il est vrai que les 10 premiers épisode sont mou lent et bof mais après c mieux je trouve.
